In this post I am sharing with you some of the most important facts about Fundamental Rights of Indian Constitution. We have seen many questions from Fundamental Rights in our previous exams like; SSC, Banks and other exams. Various questions are made from fundamental rights of Indian Constitution, and it comes under general knowledge section.

Here is the most important list of facts about Fundamental Rights:

In the Indian Constitution there are 22 parts.

The Fundamental Rights(मौलिक अधिकार) has been described in the 3rd part of the Indian Constitution.

Fundamental writes have been described in article number 12 to 35.

Fundamental Rights have been described as the Magna Carta(महान अधिकार) of India.

The concept of the Fundamental Rights has been borrowed from US Constituion.

When Constituion made that times it is decided that no changes can be made to Funamental Rights of the Indian Constituion. But Kesavananda Bharti from Kerala, filed a case at the Supreme Court to amend funamental rights. The Supreme Court said that parliament has the right to made changes to fundamental rights but the basic features of the fundamental rights cannot be destroyed in any form.

6 types of fundamental rights has been mentioned from article number 14 to 32.

Six types of fundamental rights :

1. Right to equality(Articles 14 to 18)

2. Right to freedom(Articles 19 to 22)

3. Right against exploitation(Articles 23 to 24)

4. Right to freedom of religion(Article 25 to 28)

5. Cultural and educational rights(Article 29 to 30)

6. Right to constituional remedies(Article 32)
